Women Mean Business is a unique intimate and inspirational session created by Ajara Bomah and Roselynn Lewis. The event is for young and emerging female entrepreneurs in all business fields to create multiple in depth personal networking experiences and engage in impactful immersive skills building. The event is for Women who want to learn, grow their business ventures and understand the mindset of an entrepreneur.

This intimate event includes a Keynote address, panel discussions, networking sessions, vendor fair and development sessions where entrepreneurs at various stages of success share their experiences, lessons learned and advice for up and coming entrepreneurs.

There is a saying that goes “When you empower a man, you empower an individual; when you empower a woman, you empower a nation.” African women represent a vast pool of potential that could drive broad, sustainable growth in Africa. The rate of female entrepreneurship is higher in Africa than in any other region in the world. Sub-Saharan Africa is in the midst of an entrepreneurial revolution that is invigorating the region with new opportunities, increased employment, and a robust rise in gross domestic product to one of the highest GDP growth rates in the world.

Women Mean Business is here to Celebrate, Empower and Encourage African business women who are taking a step forward to make a change in their own lives. Women entrepreneurs are on the rise and are making a critical contribution on the continent and we are reshaping the global economy. It is important that we tap into the enormous potential of women as we collectively empower them to live their dreams.
